New member SSE look to the future with Made in the Midlands

Redditch based System Support Engineers (SSE) have joined Made in the Midlands with the view to expand their existing base here in the Midlands.

SSE are a specialist Electromechanical engineering company, specialising in large and small scale machine tool re-engineering, integrating the latest CNC and PLC equipment.

The family-run business, which was established in 1994, has grown into a diverse engineering business with a number of quality services to offer, both electrical and mechanical, specialising in automation systems.

Ben Smyth, Technical Director, added: ‘We first heard about Made in the Midlands from their August Breakfast Networking event at Solihull College, and since meeting with Sophie (Regional Membership Manager, MIM) we are really excited to join the initiative and be a part of the diverse opportunities this membership will give us to solidify our presence in the region.’

Rob Smyth, Managing Director, said: ‘We are looking forward to the opportunities that Made in the Midlands will bring. We have always had great success both home and abroad, and recently  developed new relationships with emerging markets in Mexico, which we hope will continue as we grow.’

SSE have exciting plans to expand their business over the next 12 months, with the vision to extend their team by 50% at the end of 2015.
